Wausau District Administrator Kathleen Williams has sent a letter to Wausau families informing them of the impact that proposed state budget cuts will have on students in the Wausau School District, and encouraging parents and community members to contact legislators with their questions. This is another great example of how to engage the community in support of educational opportunities for the students we serve.

Numerous commentators are quoted in Matt DeFour’s Wisconsin State Journal news article essentially agreeing that Wisconsin’s difficult budget was a “self-inflicted wound.”
